Why register an SL in Spain
An SL is Spain’s standard limited liability company structure. It is the most common option for expats who want to operate with a clear legal structure, separate personal and business liability, and proper invoicing and compliance.
An SL is often the right fit if you need to:
- invoice clients as a Spanish company
- hire in Spain in a compliant way
- separate personal assets from business risk
- build something that can scale beyond self-employment
